I want to start my own coffee business for a long while now. Have been making specialty drinks for friends and neighbors for years. It has always been a dream of mine to have my own place. I need some self confidence and any ideas from other coffee lovers. Is it easy to get a small business loan?

    if you have good collateral like your house,then you’ll get a buisness loan easy!..

    but if you dont already have the self confidence,then you’re gonna have problems running any kind of buisness.

    You are also going to need to put together a solid business plan. Banks and investors need to know that you have done your homework to give them more confidence in the validity and strength of your business idea.

    Microsoft has a good program to walk you through the business plan aspect. It give great suggestions and probably information that you didn’t even think about. You can download it from this site.

    In between the spam, I’d suggest you go to work in exactly the place you dream of owning, if you can’t find any that’ll take you, tell them you will work for less money so long as you can work.
    This is what I did each time I wanted to learn a trade myself.
    After a year or two you might even be asked to partner or the owner might want to sell or you might want to take over any one of the thousand coffee businesses that change ownership each day in the USA.
    The bank manager will be easier to convince if you can prove that you have already field experience, good luck.
