I want to buy an exisiting business, where should I go for a business loan?
KarenB asked:
What is the process? Also, I have heard there are special loan programs for women in business, any information on that would be appreciated as well.

You need to be a little more specific. My company, is a business lender. Check the link, call me and we can chat.
Any bank should be able to help you with a small business loan. If you are interested in a minority (woman) owned business, check out they should be able to help.
Two places to check: The Small Business Association (SBA) in your area and a conventional lender (bank) of your choosing. They can explain the process and the requirements of writing and filing a business plan and all that goes with it.
